Thank god for Costco's pre-packed salads. Whether it's laziness to buy individual salad ingredients, or just the lack of time to sit and think about what salads I want for the week, I get these. I'm not the biggest fan of oil and vinegar / vinaigrette dressings and blah salads that try so hard to stay low-fat that that they pretty much fail in the flavor department. I like my salads hearty, full of flavorful ingredients, colorful, and packed with flavor. Much like these.
This broccoli one comes with all the ingredients. No need to add anything.
This salad is addictive. Crisp broccoli with raisins, cashews and bacon bits with a light slightly sweet cream sauce. When I've got an afternoon filled with homework and studying, I keep a large bowl of this beside me to munch on. It sure beats a bag of chips or pizza!
I wish I had a better photo of this salad and it's packaging. This salad is a pre-packed version of Chipotle's Grilled Chicken Salad. I loved this because it came with a ton of ingredients; a lot more compared to traditional packed salads. This comes with grilled chicken, a tomato/corn salsa, crisp tortilla strips, cheese, sunflower seeds, and a delicious dressing. Just add a head or two of fresh romaine lettuce and you're good to go!
Interesting dish. Looks like it's full of flavor. I love salads.
