It was love at first sight. These little machines churn out the most fresh-tasting, absolutely sticky-delicious peanut butter of my dreams. You take one of those little containers, choose your nut of choice, switch it on, and watch how those crunchy nuts turn into peanut butter. I like getting the almond and honey roasted separately, then combining both later on. With a teaspoon brown sugar, they make a wonderful heart-healthy snack. The great thing about this is the portion control. Get a small serving and there's no chance of "I-looked-down-and-realized-I-finished-the-whole-jar" scenario. Gotta love that!
The Whole Foods produce section is one of my favorite places to browse. They have an extensive array of veggies, fruit, salad condiments, and the list goes on! They also allow you to taste some of the fruit prior to buying. On this particular visit I stumbled upon these super-sweet grapefruits.
Had the grapefruit with Greek yogurt and honey. Healthy but so good!
